Not that secret.

Pizza is the most important meal of the day!

Chapter one

The café kitchen

Two breakfast cooks, long shifts, a small café kitchen, and a habit of making pizza when nobody was looking.

The days were long, and the moments of reprieve brief, BUT! The words rang true in our hearts and in our heads: “Pizza is the most important meal of the day!”

With bacon grease on our hands and egg yolk on our pant legs, (brunch cooks at an abnormally busy café in an abnormally small kitchen) the two of us discovered, “It’s better to have it (pizza) and not need it (more pizza), than to need it (even more pizza) and not have it (amen)”… besides, who really wants to be awake at 6:30 a.m.?

So we set upon the task of making pizza for the masses. Vegetarian and Vegan pizzas, specifically, whilst balancing our jobs as underappreciated breakfast cooks.

Chapter two

The shop on Glisan

So, now armed with the vision, the motivation, and the PIZZA safe in hand the next part was feeding it to humankind!

Sounds ambitious… There were pizza parties (I think we invented that one) and pop-ups, and some other shenanigans of some such saunter and swag, until one day fate pulled a hot, delicious pizza from destiny’s oven and served it to us with sea salt and basil.

We wish we could say more, but isn’t mystery and a little intrigue a bit more tasty than the same old, same old, same old, and on and on andonandonandon???

Chapter three

You, probably

Pull up a chair under the string lights, buy a painting off the wall, and tell us what you think of the special.

Pop-art portraits on a painted wall inside the shop.
